Together with the Technical University of Denmark, DTU, we have established a joint research and innovation environment that can help transform the healthcare system through education, innovation, research, and treatment.
The vision is simple: to improve and advance health through technology for the benefit of individual patients, the healthcare system, and society at large.
We're facing a future with more elderly patients needing specialised treatment. That's why TUH is bringing together experts from DTU and hospitals in the Capital Region to create a collaborative environment where engineers and healthcare professionals can develop new solutions for patients.
Through this partnership, TUH is breaking down barriers and enabling greater collaboration, designing joint research projects, enhancing the technical skills of healthcare professionals, and training more engineers specialised in healthcare technology.
The Academy for Technology in Health at TUH serves as a hub for academic and administrative work. With two academic leaders, coordinating professors, program managers, and various support functions, the aim is to ensure effective and interdisciplinary collaboration.
TUH was established on April 1, 2024.
