Embryo transfer:

________ day_____ / ______ at _____ hours

The embryo will be transferred to your uterus with a thin catheter. We use ultrasound as a supplement. It is easier to do the transfer if you have a full bladder.

Please drink at least ½ liter of water 1 hour before the transfer.

After the transfer

You don’t need treatment with progesterone after the transfer in a spontaneous cycle. Your body will produce the amount of hormones that are needed.

If there are no embryos or blastocysts to transfer?

If the embryo or blastocyst did not survive the thawing process, the doctor will call you the same day and decide a plan for further treatment.
