Before the appointment, we need you to do the following:

• Activate your account on www.minsundhedsplatform.dk, as all communication takes place here. It is also available as an app: MinSP
• Complete the electronic questionnaire from the Fertility Clinic. The questionnaire is accessible via MinSundhedsplatform
• If you want to get on our cancellation list, it’s possible as soon as you have filled out the questionnaire. Let us know through MinSundhedsplatform.dk, if you are interested
• REMEMBER to update your phone number through MinSundhedsplatform

It is very important that you fill out the questionnaire no later than 2 weeks before the appointment – otherwise the appointment can’t be completed and your appointment will be postponed!

Consent to treatment can be completed at the first interview.  If you are a couple, both partners must sign the same consent form.

Fragrance-Free Clinic: 

Fragrance molecules are harmful to human eggs, which is why the use of scented products is not permitted while staying at the clinic.

Research and Education

Rigshospitalet is a university hospital. You will therefore encounter trainees who participate in all activities within the clinic. This may include midwifery, medical, or nursing students.

The clinic also conducts various research projects to gain new knowledge about fertility treatments. You may be asked whether you would like to participate in a study. Participation is always completely voluntary.

Lifestyle When Trying to Conceive

We recommend visiting the Danish Health Authority’s website: www.sundhedsstyrelsen.dk. Under the “Health and Prevention” section, you can find information about diet supplements, nutrition, and exercise when trying to conceive.

For Those Undergoing IVF Treatment:

The woman carrying the pregnancy will receive an additional invitation to an online informational meeting, where all individuals/couples undergoing IVF treatment are invited. The Fertility Clinic staff will provide an overview of the treatment and answer general questions.

Transport

Parking is very limited at Blegdamsvej. Signs indicate the parking rules on the hospital premises. Please note that parking on public streets around the hospital in Copenhagen Municipality requires payment. More details about parking: Parking at Rigshospitalet, Blegdamsvej.

Rigshospitalet is well-serviced by numerous bus and train routes. Find the easiest way to get there using public transport.

You are generally responsible for arranging and covering the cost of your transport to and from the hospital. In some cases, you may be entitled to financial assistance or transport services.
