Where are we located?

The Gynaecological Out-patients Clinic is located at entrance no 4 at the road named Juliane Maries Vej. You find us  on the ground floor, clinical area 4004. The Gynaecological Out-patients Clinic  is open daily (Monday-Friday)  between 08.00 a.m. and 15.30 p.m.

What will my visit consist of?

Upon arrival at the clinic, please register at the reception desk, adjacent to the waiting room.  Your consultation will take place in a treatment room where a doctor assisted by care staff will take care of you. Rigshospitalet is a University Teaching Hospital therefore, we are responsible for the teaching of medical students. During your appointment, medical students may therefore be present. It is, however, your privilege to ask that medical students are not present during your consultation.

How long will my appointment last?

Most appointments take approximately 40 minutes. In some cases, as part of your treatment, the doctor may ask for blood-tests and/ or other investigations to take place which may prolong your stay.

Will there be waiting time?

We endeavour to keep within the allocated appointment times. However, waiting time may occur due to unforeseen acute circumstances. Therefore, it might be a good idea to bring along reading material or a laptop computer in order to exploit any unforeseen waiting time.

Delayed or not able to come?

Many patients are seen in The Gynaecological Out-patients Clinic on a daily basis. We seek to offer an effective service with timely appointments and treatment. It is therefore important that we optimise the appointment times  available. If for any reason you need to change or cancel your appointment, please contact the clinic as soon as possible for an alternative time. The clinic telephone line is open weekdays from 09.00 a.m. – 14.00 p.m. Telephone 35 45 44 66.
