The DCPR uses facilities owned by the Neurobiology Research Unit located at The University Hospital, Copenhagen along with facilities owned by Copenhagen University located in Building 24 at the Faculty of Social Sciences.

MRI-scanner

At the DCPR we use 3 Tesla MRI imaging to generate structural images as well as to measure brain activity and blood flow both during and after psychedelic administration.

NRU Treatment Room

The NRU Treatment Room has been carefully furnished and designed to be a risk-free and safe container for the psychedelic experience.

PET Scanner

At the DCPR we use PET scanning combined with analysis techniques to evaluate how psychedelic drugs bind to receptors in the brain as well as to evaluate neurochemical changes following psychedelic administration.

Simultaneous PET/MR scanner

At the DCPR in collaboration with the Department of nuclear medicine and radiology, we employ a state-of-the art simultaneous PET and MR scanner to evaluate functional brain changes and their association to receptor occupancy and neurochemical changes.
