PhD: Virtual reality in paediatric emergency training

This PhD project investigates the impact of immersive virtual reality (VR) simulation on healthcare professionals’ skills in managing critically ill children.

In two randomized studies, we assess the impact of VR simulation on team performance among healthcare professionals and students. We also explore whether the learning outcomes differ between those who train with VR independently and those who train with an instructor. Additionally, the project explores the opportunities and drawbacks of using VR in pediatric emergency training.
