Sensory play installations will create a safer hospital experience for children across the country

​New play installations at Mary Elizabeths Hospital, Aalborg University Hospital, and Sygehus Lillebælt will help children feel calmer and more confident before medical examinations. Nordea-fonden is funding the project with DKK 12.25 million.​

New center to research sleep disorders in children and adolescents

​The Danish Sleep Center for Children and Adolescents is the first specialized research center focused on sleep disorders in children and young people. The center aims, among other things, to increase understanding of how sleep affects children’s development, disease progression, and recovery.

Mar​y Elizabeth's Hospital - Rigshospitalet for Children, Teens and Expecting Families

The Capital Region of Denmark, Rigshospitalet and Ole Kirk's Fond have joined forces in a partnership to build a new public hospital that sets new standards for the treatment of children, adolecents, pregnant women and their families. The hospital is named after Mary Elizabeth, Her Majesty The Queen of Denmark
