​The hospital steering committee consists of members from the Board of Directors, the Centre for Financial Affairs, and the Centre for IT and Medical Technology within the Capital Region of Denmark, the Chief Executive of Rigshospitalet, representatives from The Ole Kirk Foundation, and the project directors of Mary Elizabeth’s Hospital.

The hospital steering group is responsible for ensuring the realization of the vision for Mary Elizabeth’s Hospital, making sure the project aligns with the objectives outlined in the region’s hospital plans, and maintaining an effective project organization that collaborates closely with key stakeholders, particularly the centers and departments at Rigshospitalet. The group meets at least once a quarter.​
