The research group investigates how brain and spinal cord injuries affect the body and mind, and how rehabilitation can be optimized. We strive to ensure that our research is conducted in close collaboration with patients, their families, relevant patient organizations, and other stakeholders.
Collaborating with local, national, and international partners, our research aims to advance neurorehabilitation and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. By combining well-established and new advanced technologies, we seek insights into understanding and alleviating the progression and consequences of brain and spinal cord injuries for patients and their families.
The goal of our research is to improve existing treatment options and find new therapies to benefit patients with acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.
