University of Southern Denmark, Institute of Clinical Research
Our mission is to understand the neuronal circuits involved in obsessive compulsive disorder and other anxiety disorders. And to investigate the effects of serotonergic psychedelic and non-psychedelic drugs that increase neuronal plasticity.
We are using a clinical to preclinical approach that facilitate translation.
We are experts in techniques like: metabolic connectivity mapping using PET, neuronal modulation using infrared neuronal stimulation and chemogenetics, advanced behavioral analysis and in vivo and in vitro pharmacology / PKPD modelling.
