The Copenhagen University Clinic for Psychedelic Research is located in Building 24 at the Faculty of Social Sciences within Copenhagen University. The clinic is equipped with a Conversation Room for pre- and post-intervention interviews, as well as a Treatment Room that has been specifically designed and furnished to provide a secure and risk-free environment for the psychedelic experience
The Treatment Room boasts a modern sound system, a comfortable bed, and a desk for the patient's convenience. It is designed to provide the utmost privacy, security, and comfort during treatment, with a large semi-transparent curtain dividing the room into two separate sections. Additionally, the room is equipped with ample space for the two therapists who are always present during the psychedelic session. The decor of the room includes colorful wallpaper, suitable lamps for dimmed light conditions, and various artwork to create a serene atmosphere.
To ensure the utmost comfort and safety of study participants, we have taken extra measures such as ensuring the availability of rescue medicine and placing toilets within close proximity to the Treatment Room
