To ensure improved and equal health for all children by research, training and networking.
Objective:
To map and coordinate current and future international health projects, and create a platform for exchange of knowledge, experience and education in global child health.
Strategies and most important areas of work:
a. Research in low- and middle-income countries
i. Implementation research including new technologies
ii. Infectious diseases and respiratory diseases in children < 5 years of age
iii. Perinatal and neonatal diseases and survival
b. Strengthening networking and education within Denmark and with low- and middle-income
institutions including University of Copenhagen
c. Dissemination of knowledge through seminars and courses
d. Strengthening cooperation within Global Health at Copenhagen University Hospital,
Rigshospitalet
