Centres and Units

The Hearing and Balance Center brings together the treatment and research into hearing and balance disorders in the Capital Region of Denmark and is based on a unique collaboration between DTU, TUH, the University of Copenhagen, patient associations and the Capital Region of Denmark. In addition to the facilities in the North Wing at Rigshospitalet, the center has 2,500 square meters for audiological assessment and hearing aid treatment in the outpatient department at Bispebjerg Hospital and Hillerød Hospital.​

​Danish Center for Sleep Surgery brings together research and knowledge on surgical evaluation and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. The goal is to increase the degree of evidence-based surgical treatment.

Unit for Military Aviation Medicine carries out highly specialized aeromedical examinations in agreement with the Danish military. ​

​Unit for Otorhinolaryngology and Audiology in Greenland aims to support treatment, research, education and development in otorhinolaryngology and audiology in Greenland. ​

The Unit for Sense of Taste and Smell examines people with reduced sense of smell and taste, regardless of the underlying cause.
