Welcome to the Copenhagen Center for Arthritis Research (COPECARE).

On 23 October 2025, COPECARE's four professors presented Grand Rounds demonstrating how diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to inflammatory arthritis have evolved at remarkable speed over recent decades.
With the introduction of targeted biologics, earlier and more precise diagnostic tools, treat-to-target strategies, and non-pharmacological treatments, clinical outcomes have shifted fundamentally. Patients now achieve disease control and quality-of-life levels that were rarely possible 30 years ago, when therapeutic options were limited and often insufficient.
For clinicians, researchers, and translational scientists, these developments underscore a rapidly advancing field.
