Aim
The overall aim of this PhD-project was to increase current knowledge regarding cognitive behavioural rehabilitation approaches to patients with chronic low back pain undergoing lumbar spinal fusion. This knowledge includes content and effect of a cognitive pain education approach for patients with chronic low back pain, and knowledge about physiotherapists’ ability to predict surgery outcomes. Finally, a clinical test of a cognitive behavioural physiotherapeutic post-surgery rehabilitation intervention will be conducted.
