CRHIC

​CRHIC explores hybrid imaging as a tool to improve treatment of patients with cancer. A key to successful cancer treatment is the ability to stratify patients into ever smaller sub-populations, i.e. Personalised or Precision Medicine, enabling interventions to be tailored to individual patients balancing potential benefit with the risk and severity of side effects. To this end, hybrid imaging represents a key phenotypic presentation of the disease.

With the aim to use hybrid imaging to improve stratification and treatment of patients with cancer we work with hybrid imaging within the following three themes: 

  • Clinical evaluation and implementation, 
  • Improved characterisation of tumour as well as healthy tissue, 
  • Applying AI in Hybrid Imaging.
