Precision Symptom Care Research Network (PROSPER)

PROSPER is a national research network dedicated to understanding and addressing the symptoms and health challenges experienced by patients during and after treatment and rehabilitation at Copenhagen University Hospital, Rigshospitalet, and across healthcare settings.

PROSPER Research Network

The PROSPER Research Network is an interdisciplinary collaboration of professors, senior researchers, clinicians, and emerging scholars dedicated to advancing symptom science across healthcare settings.

Our mission is to improve the understanding of symptom patterns, mechanisms, and lived experiences, and to translate this knowledge into innovative interventions that enhance patient care and health outcomes. Through a translational research approach, we bridge the gap between discovery, clinical practice, and implementation, ensuring that new knowledge benefits patients and families in real-world settings.

PROSPER conducts qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research across acute and chronic conditions, fostering collaboration across disciplines and specialties. We are committed to building research capacity and creating opportunities for learning, mentorship, and innovation.

We warmly welcome early-career researchers, PhD students, master's students, and clinical colleagues who share an interest in symptom science, patient-centred care, and translational research.
