Danish Center for Rett syndrome Our research is closely related to the clinical work at the Danish Center for Rett syndrome and our research questions often arise from the clinical practice. We aim to contribute to timely and optimized prevention and treatment and to increase quality of life as best as possible. Page Content Main research areas are Rett syndrome and other severe neurodevelopmental syndromes. We look in to related medical, psychological, and genetic aspects as well as motor function. A recent ph.d study looked at parents’ perspectives of having a child with a severe mental and physical handicap.
