A research project by Hanne Kristine Hegaard
In March 2020, the first national lockdown, linked to the COVID-19 pandemic, was initiated in Denmark. Restrictions were applied to daily life, including access to sports facilities, restaurants, and social events. A pandemic has the potential to adversely affect lifestyle habits and psychological well-being in the individual.
We aimed to assess the potential influence of the first national lockdown in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic on level and type of exercise, alcohol consumption, smoking status and psychological well-being and worries among pregnant women during the first phase of the COVID-19 pandemic in Denmark.
