About the Research Unit for Womens and Childrens Health

​​The research is descriptive as well as experimental, and includes qualitative, quantitative and mixed methodological approaches. Intervention research that promotes a personal and family-centered approach in a highly specialized hospital is prioritized.​​​​

​In the ​Research Unit for Womens and Childrens Health researchers with different health professional backgrounds are gathered in a research community on issues related to children, youth, women and families and their needs for prevention and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
