The research of Department for Psychology, Play Therapy and Social Counselling
is focused on psychological aspects of pregnancy delivery and
infant-parent-relationships and the parent hood of both women and men. The
research also includes studies on the impact of sexual assaults on children,
young people, and adults and on treatment of the victims of such assaults.
The studies of the department has led to international pioneer research on
men and post partum depressions and on psychological reactions in children
sexually abused via the Internet (grooming).
