MD and PhD Line Rode

Line Rode is employed as an external research advisor at the Department of Obstetrics, Juliane Marie Centre, Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Line Rode is MD from the University of Copenhagen and has been working with fetal medicine since 2001 with her main focus on preterm delivery. She was head coordinator and investigator in the PREDICT Study, a Danish-Austrian multicenter randomised placebo-controlled trial examining the effect of progesterone treatment for prevention of preterm delivery in twin gestations. 

She defended her thesis “Prevention of preterm delivery in twin pregnancies” in 2012. Her other main areas of interest within the field of obstetrics and gynecology are Down syndrome screening and effects of gestational weight gain on maternal and infant health.
