Copenhagen Nottingham Ear, Nose and Throat Dissection Course

The course will be held June 10-14th 2024.

We are happy to present 21th Copenhagen-Nottingham Ear, Nose and Throat Dissection Course organized in Copenhagen with faculty and participants from all over Europe. The course will extend to five days - June 10-14th 2024 - and will be divided into Head & Neck and Rhinology and Otology.


The course will be held in collaboration with Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the Panum Institute, Faculty of Health Science, Copenhagen University and at Copenhagen University Hospital under the direction of professor Christian von Buchwald, MD, DMSc. and professor Anshul Sama MD, FRCS. The hands-on workshop using fresh frozen cadavers is focused on basic surgical approaches to Midle Ear Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery. The emphasis is on maximising dissection time with demonstration lead stepwise approach to surgery. The course will consist of lectures, demonstrations and dissections on frozen corpses. The workshop is suitable for Specialist Registrars pursuing higher surgical training in otorhinolaryngology.


The course fee for Head & Neck, Rhinology and Otology is 1475 EURO. The course fee for only Head & Neck and Rhinology is 950 EURO. The course fee for Otology is 775 EURO. This includes cadaver dissection, lunch breaks, coffee and course dinner. 


Hotel fee is not included. The official language is English. The number of participants are limited. Registration is on a “first come first served” basis. Registration is valid when the fee is received. Payment will only be drawn from the credit card if registration is still open and you will receive e-mail confirmation when registration is complete.
