Advanced FESS and Anterior Skull Base Course

Next course will be held November 11-12th 2021.


It is a pleasure to present the 15th Copenhagen Advanced FESS Course and Anterior Skull Base Course focusing on advanced FESS and skull base surgery introducing four hand technique. The course will extend for 2 days - November 11-12th 2021 - and will be held in collaboration with the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the Panum Institute, Faculty of Health Science, Copenhagen University and the Department of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head & Neck Surgery, Copenhagen University Hospital. The faculty and participants aim to represent the most of Europe. 
(Note: The Faculty of the 15th Copenhagen Advanced FESS Course and Anterior Skull Base Course will be established and announced as soon as possibly.)

The course will consist of lectures, live demonstrations and dissections on frozen cadavers that have been CT-scanned. There will be one specimen per two delegates. The workshop is suitable for ENT specialists pursuing higher surgical rhinologic training using powered instrumentation in advanced FESS and anterior skull base surgery. The official language is English. The number of participants is limited to 20 on a first come first served basis.

Programme

Course Schedule

Day 1: Lectures (Anatomy, Surgical approaches), Live demonstrations on Cadaver dissection by faculty followed by hands-on cadaver dissection for course delegates.

Day 2: Lectures (Anatomy, Surgical approaches), Live demonstrations on Cadaver dissection by faculty followed by dissection training for course delegates and ends with course evaluation.
