The department is involved pre-graduate education at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, through the professors and lecturers in the department.
The department is involved in the education of medical students but also student from e.g. physics, Human Biology.
The Department of Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine has several training positions for doctors who wish to specialize in clinical physiology and nuclear medicine. Training of future doctors and specialists takes place both at Blegdamsvej and Glostrup.
Through shorter, focused residency grants, the department also offers opportunities for specialist medical training in, among other things, urology, nephrology and radiology.
Last but not least, a large number of PhD and thesis students are associated with the department (see more under research).
The department's teaching activities are accredited by the Danish Health Authority and UEMS (Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Training Centers Committee of the Section of Nuclear Medicine of the European Union of Medical Specialists).
