Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine is one of the most advanced medical specialties, where knowledge of and skills in technological tools such as SPECT, PET/CT and PET/MR are essential. Therefore, people with a background in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) play an important role in the subject.
The upcoming challenges of the healthcare system makes optimization, innovation and the introduction of new techniques and tools a central part of everyday life. The development must ensure both high quality in diagnostics and treatment as well as safe handling of radioactivity and ionizing radiation for patients and staff - now and in the future.
Collaboration is key in achieving these goals. The department cooperates with DTU and departments within Rigshospitalet e.g. in the project DEPICT. As a student or graduate, you can become part of the profession by contacting our department.
