Anne-Marie Gerdes is a professor of clinical genetics at Department of Clinical Genetics at Centre of Diagnostic Investigation, Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital and the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Her main research areas are hereditary cancer syndromes:
- Melanomas
- Breast cancer
- Gynaecological cancers
- Colorectal cancer (Lynch syndrome) with special focus on identifying new cancer genes and their phenotypes and also cancer prevention
