Unit of Crisis Psychology

Unit of Crisis Psychology deals with the following areas:

  • Crisis intervention to patients and their relatives at Rigshospitalet in connection to acute illness.
  • Debriefing, supervision and training of the staff at Rigshospitalet.
  • Psychosocial assistance to staff at Rigshospitalet, both regarding personal and professional matters.
  • Research projects in the field of traumatic stress.
  • Crisis intervention to staff and employees in professions outside Rigshospitalet after traumatic events at the workplace
Unit of Crisis Psychology is also a part of the contingency plan regarding psychological aid after major accidents and disasters.
