History
The Bartholin Institute was founded in 1987 and named from Thomas Bartholin, a Danish anatomist from the 16th century who among other important discoveries described the lymphatic system.
In addition to standard techniques a number of core facilities are available for everyone. These include immunohistochemistry, laser scanning microscopy, FACS, animal care unit and molecular biology such as real time pcr.
We welcome collaborations which involve our core facilities.
