Rigshospitalet gets renewed JCI accreditation

For the forth time running Rigshospitalet has been accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI).
In March of this year Rigshospitalet was host to a team of independent professionals from Joint Commission International. The team was tasked with measuring the quality of the hospital's achievements and organisation across diverse staff groupings, departments and centres. JCI uses internationally recognised standards for their accreditation and it is now the forth time running that Rigshospitalet receives the stamp of approval. It is an achievement Rigshospitalet is proud of.

The accreditation aims, amongst other things, to measure the quality of service, not least in terms of patient safety and the organisation's ability to foster teamwork across diverse departments. Results from the survey reveals, amongst other findings, improved delivery in terms of quality, compared to previous accreditations in 2002, 2005 and 2008.
