Department Of Dental, Oral and Maxilliofacial Surgery
The Department Of Dental, Oral and Maxilliofacial Surgery treats diseases, serious infections, abnormalities, cancer and lesions in teeth, the oral cavity and the jaw, for the whole Capital Region of Denmark. The department is also responsible for national functions with regard to specialist treatment and often works closely together with other hospital specialities such as plastic surgery or cervical surgery.
The department is also responsible for regional dental care for the Capital Region of Denmark and shares its location with the Odontological Knowledge Centre.
